- Description
- This is a classic washed/sun dried green coffee from the Nyeri region of Central Kenya. This green coffee was processed at the Kiamabara Coffee Factory and washed with water from the nearby Kingu river. The KCF is a local cooperative that subsists of nearly 1,000 smallholder members, a third of which are female. Through the KCF, these smaller-scale farmers are given access to coffee education and training, in addition to social programs like healthcare and early education for their children.

- This coffee boasts flavors of typical washed Kenyas; strong aromatics, nuances of berry and fruit, with bright yet balanced acidity. This Kenya is a great introduction to East African coffee beans, especially if you often find natural process Ethiopia coffees to be slightly gritty, with fruit notes that are too powerful for your liking.
